Seeing as I am the administrator of Facebook's Snark page (yes, it's true) -- it should come as no surprise that I also have a soft spot for Sonny & the Sunsets, the snark-tastic, fun-loving, San Fran surf rock foursome, whose new (snarkily-named) album, Hit After Hit, dropped last month on Fat Possum Records.
It should also come as no surprise that an album on my "best of" list includes lots of sweet vintage accents, breezy boy/girl harmonies, and upbeat, jangly melodies that make you want to clap along.
