Adam Granduciel, War on Drugs front man; guitarist; harmonica-player; visionary -- crafts songs that make you feel -- whether it's happy, restless, yearning, exuberant, exhausted, or content. It's something in that twangy, affected drawl that gives the illusion of soaring above the ground -- while still remaining very much connected to all that's below.
