Recap: The War on Drugs + Caveman at JB's

Johnny Brenda's last night was enveloped by a thick haze, as space-y doom-pop band Caveman joined hometown heroes the War on Drugs for a sold-out record release show. The former filled the space with dense beats and cutting bass lines, while the latter was sprawling and engulfing, front man Adam Granduciel's twangy vocals and impassioned guitar jamming striking a balance between world-wearied reflection and exuberant celebration.
